British Shintaido is pleased to be hosted the next International Shintaido event here in the UK.

This event has its own website. Please register to attend on the Dokan ’24 website.

These events bring together the whole international Shintaido community every four years. Recent such events have been held in America, Japan and Europe (as well as online in 2021 – postponed from 2020). The last time we held an international event in the UK was over 20 years ago.

Vision

What is Shintaido?

While Shintaido is grounded in traditional Japanese martial arts, it does not aim to defeat or overpower an opponent, and its practice is entirely non-competitive.
